Delete Zsphere in scene thats not in edit mode.

I have a Zsphere thats in my scene that I cannot figure out how to select and delete. Its on the canvas while I’m working on my model thats in edit mode. What do I need to do to remove it?

You probably dropped it to the 2.5d canvas while working on it previously. Press ctrl-n to clear the canvas pixols.
