Hello everybody. That’s my very first post about ZBrush so greetings to everyone ;)! I imported a obj file into ZBrush and wanted to subdivide it for sculpting/polypainting. Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I was using the smooth (Catmull-Clark) subdivision algorithm which making trouble at some areas where I don’t have quads. So I wanted to delete the subdivision and change it to normal subdivision without smoothing. But how can I do that? I can only go back to level one, but I can’t delete it. Isn’t it possible?
You would have to use Ctrl+Z to undo the dividing you just did. If it’s already too late for that, you’ll have to scrap it and start over. Import the model again as a new Tool. Then turn off Tool>Geometry>Smt before dividing to disable the catmull-clark smoothing.
