Is there anyway I can flatten my object front and back? I’ve tried different combos of the x y z buttons but nothing seems to work. I’ve tried just the z button but that seems to only flatten the front. Also it doesn’t seem to be flattening evenly?
Well I figured out how to flatten front & back, yet it still will only do one side evenly.
Anyone?
Man you watch too many tuts … it’s time to start thinking again. Switch on the floor with all 3 axises active. and figure out on what axis you want to do the flatten. If needed just rotate your model (using the rotate slider) until you position it correctly for using flatten for front and back.

also the flatten command will only work from the positve (or negative) until the 0-axis position. So it might be that you have to move your model in Z-Space in order to do a flatten. An image with the Grid on might help.
