Default start up material

ZB refuses to load anything other than red wax mat cap at start up. I tried save as start up doc., store config & save custom UI. No matter what I do ZB loads the red wax.

Is this normal? How do I change it to another material?
I searched the forums but just found old threads with hacks and scripts.
Is this inability of ZB to save a custom Start Mat a bug or intentional?

No, it’s not a bug, that’s just the way it is. If you want to load a different material at startup you will need to use a script. You might also want to take a look here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?194880-ZStartup-Master!-unofficial-Information-Installation
