I posted this up in the Trouble shooting for Z4R4 as well, but It will probably get buried in there, so in here it goes as well.
"Can anyone else change the default start up material in Z4R4? I hate redwax and have always replaced it with another start up material so I don’t make my eyes cave in with every model I load.
Nothing seems to work anymore.
Drawing said material on my canvas and saving that as my start up doc doesn’t remove it.
I can’t find red wax to override it now either…not that it would matter as it is being loaded with my start up doc I believe.
Everything else works like a charm, UIcolors, Hotkeys, Doc size and Range, Custom UI, etc.
Can anyone save me? Am I just dumb and forgetting a step (probably). Thanks guys."
