default brush setting

once i have changed the settings on a brush (to paint an eyeball for example) how do i then change the brush back to its default settings (short of closing the program down and opening it back up again LOL)

thanks

When you modify a brush’s settings, a copy of it is made in the Tool palette. If you really like the settings, you can actually save it (handy for things like the Fiber Brush). However, if you want to go back to the default, just click its first icon in the Tool palette.

sweet! now i know how to get back to the default

AND i know i can save a brush

thank you very much!

Neo runs off to look for a thread about cool brushes

hey aurick,

i was just starting to setup and modify my own brushes and i was wondering if this still applies. i can’t seem to find any “first” brush in the tool palette that is the original and will return me to the original if i play around and change settings.

has this changed in zb4?

so assuming that it is different now, what is the best way to experiment with brush settings and still get back the default brush?

  • clone brushes before experimenting?
  • experimenting and then hitting the “restore default settings for all brushes” button?
  • is there another button that i can press that will restore default settings to just a particular brush?

thanks.
