Hello.
I’ve recently downloaded DecimationMaster for 3.1 and installed it properly by following the instructions verbatim, yet it does not show up under zPlugs. I am using zBrush 3.1 as well.
My winrar/unzip program didn’t create extra folders or anything like that, as I assumed. I simply placed the entire DecimationMasterDataWinV1.1 folder under C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush3\ZStartup\ZPlugs along with the .ztl outside of said folder. Restarted zBrush several times, rebooted and even tried to find it under any of the other dropdown menus in case something was horribly awry. zBrush can’t seem to find the plugin anywhere. (Yes, it is the Windows version.)
So, I went ahead to check to see if I had any previous files from that plugin still sitting within the zPlugs folder and it turns out I do not. I searched a few more times just to be sure, and even repeated the installation procedure from the very beginning. Still nothing…No previous installations of Decimation Master or files associated with it. Not so much as a trace of it can be found when running zBrush.
The other plugins I have installed that are working, are:
MULTI DISPLACEMENT 3 (Whatever that is.)
Misc Utilities (Not under there, either.)
Poser Scaler
Projection Master
SubTool Master
Transpose Master
zMapper
What’s going on here? Are any of these plugins conflicting with DecimationMaster or something along those lines? I can’t figure out what’s causing this.
