Decimation Master just not showing up :/

Hey, decimation master does not show up in my plugins roll out
I done the exact same thing with Subtool master and that works…

Any help guys? I’ve even tried putting it in the Zdata - zplugs…

Which version of ZBrush are you using?

And in your ZStartup\Zplugs folder, do you have the DecimationMaster.zsc file and DecimationMasterData folder? Or do you have a DecimationMaster folder that contains those other two?

<Sigh> I’ve got the latest. Like 3.0 or is it 3.2? 3 something… add I have all that you’ve suggested :frowning:

Hi ChaosV49,

You need to go to your DecimationMasterWinV1.1 folder and open it. Then cut all the objects from there, and paste them into ZStartup\ZPlugs.

Hope this works for you!

Also, if you’re a PC user you need to be using version 3.1. If you’re a Mac user you need 3.2. “3 something” is not necessarily the latest.

You can tell which version you have by looking at the title bar.

I’m having this same problem, and I’m unable to find the solution elsewhere… I’ve tried “reinstalling” the plugin a few times, and it doesn’t seem to want to work at all. I have copied the .zsc directly to the ZPlugs folder, along with the DecimationMasterDataWinV1.1 folder, and it does not appear under the Zplugin menu :\

Same issue here - researching to see if I did anything wrong - most likelly will find the answer there:).

Since none of my zsc files give me the menus I am betting it is user error.

After I reformatted for Windows7, and reinstalled zBrush I re-downloaded Decimation Master, and it appeared just as it was supposed to. I really have no idea what caused this :<

I have the exact same problem here, could It be that I’m currently using the trial?

The current Decimation Master plugin on the plugins download page is for blender 3.5 so will not work with the trial version which is 3.1. There is a thread that has a link to the 3.1 plugins so do a forum serach.

Will do, Thanks
