Thank you for the information. Have you painted directly over the grayscale image, or did you lay out the colors in zbrush?

I am considering rendeering it in Mental Ray, but I am tempted to paint it over, because this way all the details will be included…

i like this approach of overpainting in PS in different modes, you really loose the cgi feel,
you get precision with the 3d, the lighting and the tones and then you get crazy with colors!
