Thanks to all guys, means a lot!
Here are a few Zbrush shots:
P.S. Please appreciate I sculpt everything with a MOUSE lol

Oh my god - you totally blow my mind with your work!
How much was the polycount for this BEAUTIFUL artwork?
Cheers again buddy and thanks for sharing,
- Kenny
With a mouse thats extreme detailing
stunning work!!! Well done. Very NWO
Amazing work. Especially considering everything is done with only a mouse.
Ezra
Love the detail, its unending.
I also love the New World Order, all seeing eye, Illuminati Pyramid, Federal reserve, Off shore banker Police state Look even more. Its Awesome!
At the first glance, I’m was thinking “Oh some cool fractal work within zbrush” lol
Oustanding details, congrats!
Astounding work on this piece! I usually ask artists if they plan to poly paint but in this case I’m glad you didn’t. Paint would just distract the eye from all of the incredible detail you’ve got here. Easily the best piece of work like this I’ve seen. One question, are the large bricks the police are standing on supposed to be printing plates for currency? They kind of look like it, but its hard to tell. Fantastic job that should be top row!
Are you serious? do you really sculpt everything with a mouse!!!
That is impressive and very interesting to explore
just came back for another look. This is so so cool. you should get this 3d printed. I’d buy one
Thanks guys , I appreciate all your comments and support!
Yes, ALL with a MOUSE, you can imagine my pain. Well I never used tablet so not sure the difference, but based on impressions here it seems it makes a world of difference. I’ll get one soon hopefully and then unleash my true ZPower! =)
But yea it definitely affects organic sculpting I can imagine, and may explain partly why I’m always weak on things like cloth…
And it’s nice that you guys noticed all that symbolism in the features!
@snowen20: Nice observations, thx, another thing I just noticed is the pentagon looking structure in center of pyramid. Also there r 2 drones on legs
@voodoodad: thanks man. Yea I cant imagine polypainting something at this scale, I think I’ll save myself the pain LOL. And nice observation bout the currency printing plates. I did not intend that but I should’ve done that now u mention it, would’ve fit perfectly!
@KC: As far as polycount:
Basically, loads of polygons. The pyramid in center by tself was up to 40 million
-
Each soldier was 20million.
-
The legs were 7 million each , only since lots of key features were box modeled
-
The rest, i.e. floor/arc well I don’t remember but u can estimate from these approx figures of legs/pyramid
-
But, here’s the key. Lots of these components were modeled separately and then combind together after using the beautiful Decimation Master plugin!
-
After decimation, altogether I managed to reduce everything to 10million polygons for final clay render in mental ray. All the renders are with decimated objects
@LeoAMD: Aye I thought about the prospect of a print of this, would be AWESOME
Thanks again guys, you’re the best ^^
Hi all, here is another clay render angle/closeup
I also posted another old render of Archon, just slightly revisited and with some closeups.
Just wanted to get the center soldiers in large and also a more interesting perspective:
And here is a tiny revision of Archon render:
epic work my friend!!
I dunno why but its rly creeping me out:D
amazing design/worksmall_orange_diamond
I’ll take a “happy accident” over something I did on purpose any day of the week! Even in the closeup view, they STILL look like currency plates to me. Awesome work, man!
Whaaaatttt the?! This is intense.
Dude you should get a Wacom. You would go Super Saiyan and destroy us all.
Woooooaaaaaah!! This work is awesome. So good.
Hey thanks guys!
Yes, with a mouse
I must really get a WACOM now and express my true ‘super saiyan’ potential as you say lol. But I guess I just mastered the mouse as a medium by now
Still putting together my first demo reel anyhow.
For those who were wondering about ZAnimator by the way:
My animation research (technical/programming phd) is getting in the way time-wise.
I may have interesting things to add to ZAnimator, especially if I complete and manage to publish to SIGGRAPH this year, but that’s for later but ONLY if the Zbrush SDK is made more flexible, and I await that flexibility. It’s too limited as it is.
I haven’t been working on ZAnimator for ages for these reasons. (current phd research is dedicated to human-object interaction motion retargetting , for those curious).
Cheers!
