Darrel Anderson

Those of you familiar with the old Atari days (well, I say Atari, but he gets around…) may remember Darrel Anderson. One of my favorite artists of the time. I found him the other day at:
http://www.braid.com/

Some cool stuff, check it out. I am curious about thier 3d software GroBoto, but alas, I have no mac. Anyone else check it out?

Hi Kaz,

The images on Braid.com are amazing. The kind of stuff I aspire to myself. I spotted GroBoto a couple of months ago and downloaded the demo. I made a lot of doodle images including this one - a self portrait.

It’s a fun program and it would be good for kids. It makes funny sounds as you draw. The entire image you create can be exported as one .obj file. It took me over one hour to import a groboto object into Bryce. After it was done importing I noticed why - it had over a million polygons
