Hi everyone i am new to zbrush 4 and i am working on a tutorial in the getting started Guide the sea creature one, my problem is that no matter how i setup my Damien standard brush i can’t get the thin sharp crease 
that is shown in the tutorial if anyone knows what settings i should use to get the same effect that appears in the tutorial help would be very appreciated.

There are 6 tutorials in that series, perhaps you can indicate which tutorial you are referring to and maybe the exact time into the tutorial also.
you might have changed the alpha?
It’ s in the second part of the sea creature tutorial hope that helps oh and by the way the person doing the tutorial start to use the brush after two minutes in the video.
It’s hard to determine a fix without more details.
If the brush is working correctly at it’s default settings, you’ll have a slight pinching effect on a very sharp/pointy brush tip.
If the brush isn’t sharp/pointy, then there’s either no alpha, it’s the wrong alpha, or the brush is bugged.
Are you using Zbrush 4?
Did you download the brush? If so, try using the one that comes with Z4 instead. (Open your lightbox > Click Brushes > Double Click the Damien Standard.)
Thanks a lot man! I was having difficulties with the brush I downloaded from the tutorial…it doesn’t work with Zbrush 4!
