cyberpunk -Final Render pg 2

Hi.

Just thought I’d share my latest indulgence. I got incredibly excited with the sweep profile tool, used edge loop for the first time ever…and even stuck in a few z spheres before getting scared away by my lack of knowledge.

But this has been fun to create so far. Shes not finished yet and I have a few plans for a scene, but im not sure if Im going to be able to achieve what I want. So, just in case I fail to get any further with this, I figured I’d share it with you, as its lonely infront of this PC and no one else is going to see it.

Face/flesh has been somewhat overlooked so far. Anyhow, enough rambling.

Comments/crits…anything to help me along very welcome.

I’m falling in digital love with this software!

wowsers ! i cant believe theres no comments on this incredible work

awesome work, duder

Great work! very nice details… one question whats a “sweep profile tool”?

And if you ever find the time, a short instruction on how you used the tools for this model would be helpfull for newbies such as myself

Thanks for posting! keep up the great work!

Nice clothing! I’ll have to investigate that sweep tool.

This is really good, you have a very distinctive style.
Your female figure is dead on…
One of the nicest I have seen yet on the forum.
Did you construct her in Z or another platform? Do you mind posting some wires of the female body? Really impressed by your work. You have my vote for top row on this.

nice work, im also curious about this sweep tool…pls enlighten us!

Great pose, nice detailing, really like the hair. :+1:

I think it looks just right now.If you change anything it would have all or nothing. The balance of flat colors and low sheen looks great.
Clothes out of a sweep-profile tool huh?..I once built a space ship out of
a hair drier.

Damn! That’s fantastic.

Will you please show an example of using the sweep tool for clothing?

Hi Nil,

Nice work! Good stylization/dynamic pose.

2 small crits and a suggestion:

  • the bend on the “rib” on the clothing on her back is a bit too sharp (maybe
round it along the contour of the back a bit more?)

  • the extreme arch in her left toe would probably only happen if she was landing
or pushing off of something (a concrete step, perhaps?)

You might want to think about pulling one of the pistol slides back and having
her finger squeezing the trigger with recoil and muzzle flash…just a thought,
tho.

Again, nice job.

XD thats kewl, just as you are falling in love with the software, I am falling in love with your work
Great work man, cant wait for more updates

Oh ya. Im liking this very much. I will need to keep an eye on this and see where you take it. :+1:

JIM

sweep profile tool? wasn’t it a nurb modelling tool?? or a plug in for zbrush? Anyway would love to know more.

NIce job!!

Looks good. I hope this starts a trend towards more women/less monsters.

…with the Sweep profile tut?
Because many Zbrushers don’t know it and it use !
Cool image manga style cover :+1:
Top Menu!

Blimey. Really wasnt expecting such a response - thankyou!

SweepProfile3D tool is next to Ring3D tool. Once

selected go to tool>initialise where you find a bunch of options and can chance the profile view.

I’m at work at the moment so sorry for the short reply, and any other questions I may have missed. When I get home I’ll see about showing some examples of how I use the tool, I dont think that you will be too impressed.

rookie-z - Muzzle flash…it may happen if I can work out how to do it

Well I spent the night creating lovely tentacles that were grabbing at her feet until my PC decided to take an unscheduled rest. So…rather annoyed I just set about creating a ‘cover’ image - like Frenchy Pilou had mentioned. I’m not 100% sure it works but its time to put this one to bed now before it stops being fun. For all those sweepprofile3d tut people, I promise to make some attempt in the near future to explain how I made this, if you are still interested - there will be no wireframes and the like as shes very…flat…well bumpy at best.

My thanks and praise to everyone here at ZBrush Central. Its a wealth of knowledge and a fine community. As always comments and crits welcome, it may not affect this piece but give me a couple of weeks and the next one may show some improvements

So here she is…Blood Red a.k.a - monster killing in the basement.
