Customizing Menu

I’d like to set up a smaller version of the Tool Menu for my custom UI.

However I can only get the customize feature to let me drag over one button at a time into a new menu. I can’t drag full submenus. If I just drag a bunch of individual buttons over to a new custom menu, I’m guessing that new subtools, etc will not show up in there like they do for the full Tool Menu.

So what I’m thinking is to clone the Tool Menu, take out the stuff I use infrequently (in the clone) and use the clone as my custom.

Is that possible? I hope so. It would sure save me time.

Feel free to try the one I posted for size and functionality  Might not quite be what you envision but could be helpful. I use the Axis plug, ZTree and a few other plugins which won’t be in your UI unless you have them, additional files not included. Zip file with several folders and scripts there too if interested.

Thanks Doug. But I’m new to ZBrush Central and don’t know where to look for that posting.

Nevermind - I just found it in your gallery. I’ll give it a try!

Doesn’t look like you downloaded the newest .cfg file, the zipped folders has one but I posted a newer one here; I have stuff all over the place, you may or not find that bit useful. If you hit TAB however you still have access to some stuff that would normally hide on you. I hope it’s helpful.

Cool - I never downloaded a custom UI before! Thank you.
It’s actually kind of the opposite of what I’m doing though. I’m going for more of a minimalist look.

I use the spacebar/right click menu. Also the “s” to bring up the brush size slider, and “b” for the brushes. You can hide the shelves. Real bummer to jump all over the UI if you’re on the bottom and want a slider at the top. Minimalistic may not be realistic to work well
