I just started using zbrush again, the last version I used was version 2… so what are some current zplugins that you would recommend for version 3.5?
Also…Silly question, how do I get my bottom shelf to look like that:
(having the various brushes on the bottom).
From the Support Centre Knowledgebase:
NO plugins for version 3.1 or earlier should be installed in 3.5. They are not compatible with the many changes and new features, and could result in instability or undesirable side effects. Some will even prevent ZBrush from launching entirely.
We are currently updating all official plugins for use with version 3.5. A few will not be updated, but this is only because they are no longer needed. (For example, ZMapper.)
We do not have an ETA on any specific plugin. Please don’t ask. Our team is working as quickly as possible and will release each one as it is ready.

As for the custom layout question, that looks like one of the default alternate layouts you can cycle through with the arrows in the very top left corner of the program window, near the minimize/maximize buttons.
You can always customize the window to your own tastes, by following the usual custom Ui instructions:

Any plugins will be in the download centre and will say if they are for 3.1 or 3.5.
Currently there are none. I’m sure it will be clearly announced when they come out.

I know how to create custom layouts, but how to get rid of BrushMod strip at the top of the screen in Sculpt01 ? When I try to customize my ui in similar way (to maximize workspace just a little more 
) , I’m always getting DOUBLE space occupied no matter what I set e.g. Draw Size slider or Edit button… Why ?
