Customization of the bottom tray

I quite don’t understand how to customize the bottom tray. When I try to place items there after activating customization and dragging with ctrl+alt the items only can be above and below, therefore they can not be collapsed because they are outside of the tray. Anybody knows how to place items inside of the tray in a way it can be collapsed?
The image shows the tray open and collapsed, but I can not place anything inside.

You’re welcome to try my UI and files. I bring up the brush palette with B.

The collapsable bit is not available as part of a custom arrangement. The reason is that it is the “ZScript Window” - this is where the buttons for recorded zscripts, or zscripts which have not been made into plugins, appear.

However, if you place buttons above or below they will still be hidden when you press TAB.
