Customising my UI

I find the standard ZB UI colours a bit dark and difficult to see, I guess this is great if you spend hours at your screen and want to avoid eye strain.

I have started to customise some settings for my own benefit and there are loads in the Preferences but I haven’t been able to find one in particular.

How do I change the default gradient background of the workspace ? I find it difficult to see some parts of my models if they have darker mats or colours applied as the contrast is low.

Any ideas ?

the document background isn’t part of the UI, it’s part of the document. So in the document panel you will find settings for the color, gradient range and rate, and document size. If you want to make your settings load by default, you need to save the document as a new StartupDocument.

as for colors, I usually use the brown one or blue one depending on my mood. I’ve been meaning to make more of my own, like a red one, but haven’t found time :stuck_out_tongue:
