Hello! I recently downloaded some brushes from: ArtStation
I dragged them into the ‘ZBrushes’ folder and I can use the Brushes when I’m sculpting.
However when I turn on enable customize, and drag them into the top or bottom customizable areas, they disappear when I open zBrush after closing. I’ve tried to “Save Config” but the brushes don’t seem to stay even after that.

so all the brushes which stand in Zbrushes folder are accessible via lightbox, and aren’t loaded at ZBrush startup. For that you will have to move your brush to ZStartup/BrushPresets.
Concerning the UI issue, you must to Save the Ui and then Store config, so it gonna reload the custom UI at the next Zbrush restart.

Oh WOW! OK, that makes sense. So, make my custom stuff > save UI > then store config?
How do I save the UI? That’s the only part of this process I am unsure about!

@shade I would suggest Michael Pavlovich’s Intro to Zbrush (updated) because what you’re talking about is part of the basics. Custom brushes is #12, Custom UI is #43. Have fun.
