This has bothered me for a long time, since ver. 3.0 I think. I want to have “activate symmetry” and all the axis buttons up at the top of my UI (mainly so I can quickly check if they are on or not, ive turned it off on accident before.)

But these buttons won’t save with the config because the 2d tools don’t use them.

Can’t they just grey out and not disappear off my shelf forcing me to drag them out each session?

Check out this post by Svengali and use his buttons.

These buttons won’t dissapear from the UI, but they don’t highlight to indicate they are on though. I wish they did, so if anybody knows how to do that, maybe through ZScript, then please let us know.
