Custom Palette List font?

With all the amazing customization of the interface that ZBrush can accommodate, one thing I haven’t figured out how to do is change the font for the palette list. Namely, I’d like to enlarge it.

I’ve got a nice high-resolution screen and monitor, so the palette list is very small. I’m middle aged, and reading the tiny gray, sans serif type is a bit of a pain without reading glasses (which play hell with the sculpting) , so I’d like to bump up the font size. Is it possible? If so, how?

It’s not possible to change the font style or size for buttons. You can change the colors through the Preferences palette (you can quickly scroll through a variety by pressing the buttons at the top right of the UI, next to the DefaultZScript button).

Something else you might try is to add one of the Zoom palette Active Zoom windows to your custom arrangement. That will then give you an enlarged view of whatever your cursor is over.

You can change the size of the text for the popup that you get when mousing over a button - turn on Large Quick Info Text in Preferences>Quick Info. To make the text easier to read you could try changing the colors (Preferences>Icolors Palette1 and Submenu2) and the opacity (Preferences>Icolors>Quick Info Opacity).

HTH,

Cool! Thanks so much!
