Custom Brush menu how-to at ZB Summit...

For the life of me I can’t remember who the presenter was at the ZB 2014 Summit that demonstrated a very straightforward custom configuration for brushes. It worked the charm – each start-up of the program, there were my favorite brushes.

I tripped that up somehow & can’t recall the process. He slid brushes over to the bottom of the screen & from there – I’m drawing a blank.

Can anyone help me with this? Appreciate it. I did a search for custom brush menus – haven’t found that particular process.

Thanks.

Upper right of UI has previous and next config buttons.

Right…I get that , thanks Doug.

It was the process with config & UI-- specific maneuvers he demo’d to slide brushes to the bottom of the screen/work area.

Looks like the ‘maneuver’ was Ctrl + Alt in moving the items… the demo at the Summit clinched it in mere moments & I was able to follow it seamlessly.

Reading the guide – what a concept – that should work too

I have one posted but don’t have lots of brushes in it, don’t use too many and bring up either right click menu or the brushes with the b hotkey. I also use s to set brush size quickly. Have fun.

Got it – thanks to you both … falls under that old axiom “When all else fails…read the instructions.”

To which the addendum should be “Then, read them again…s-l-o-w-l-y.”

My fav brushes are in the startup UI default now – yippee
