Curve with mesh insert and curve with basic brush using alpha behave completely differently.
Okay, so what I would like to do is use insert curve on border then have the curve stroked with an alpha to produce a repeating alpha stamp. Think stitching or any consecutive symbols following the curve.
When trying to do this with mesh insert (rather than a basic brush with an alpha) this works perfectly. I change the curve step, click the curve, it updates with new spacing, and everything just works.
However, if I try to do this with the basic brush using an alpha, and drag dot, dot , or freehand it just doesn’t work.
Using a curve with basic brush, an alpha, and drag dot should work exactly like using a curve with a mesh insert brush(I feel like anyhow), but it just dosent. Am I crazy or does this just not work?
In addition, if chose create curve from border the curve step is determined buy the edge length of my mesh. Fine. When using a mesh insert brush changing the step length and clicking the curve to update changes the step length as expected, but while using the basic brush it does not, it stays the same step length. Whats going on here?
