Curve tube edition and parameters. Answered.

Hello

I have some questions on the great new brush curve tube.
First is it possible to edit the curve without reapplying your size falloff. I explain : I have edit the size falloff to have a great tapering effect at the start and end of the curve. I create my curve but I want to edit the path. When I click on the path to adjust it, the tapering effect is applied at this precise point. THre solution I found, was to click at the end of the curve, once iut was edited, to reactive a correct size tapering. IS there a better way to do it, a way to edit curve without reapplying the size falloff ?
2nd question is there a way to put a diiferent form as base for the extruding along the path. By defaut it is a cylinder as it is creating a tube. I would try to use it to make, for example, a cube extruding along a path or any other form. I don’t think it’s possible, but I ask, we never know

Thanks

Vincent

is "extruding along the path"mean the "curvelinetube’ brush? if so, curvelinetube is only a insert-mesh brush work with the curve stroke, that mean, you can insert any mesh with the curve-stroke(in the stroke panel click the “curve” button).for example, you can use a cube instead of a cylinder…

Regarding question #2

No it’s not a mesh insert or curve line tube. It’s the curve tool which is following the spline.
I talk about extrusion because it’s like in a 3 programs where you extrude a circle along a spline. I would like to be another shape that a circle (square, star…) but still following the curve in its path.
thanks for advice anyway

OK, this is my last attempt then I give up.

AS ZBER2 SAID,you can change the base shape by press “insertmesh preview” button found in BRUSH panel…

thnaks zber. I didn’t understand. I’m sorry to make you some more work to explain me
That’s exactly what I need
