bI also have problem with my spotlight drawing on my existing texture.
The spotlight work only when the texture is off in Tool-Uv map-Texture on is turned off.
What should I do? Thanx

If you have a texture map on the object, you won’t be able to polypaint with it turned on using Spotlight. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?179296-Question-about-textures&p=1031935&viewfull=1#post1031935

Yes, it looks like that behaviour was lost some time between version 4R2 and 4R6. The Curve features have been changed quite a bit and some new features mean that some of the old ones no longer work.

For SpotLight, it will only work with polypaint.

Well IMHO now it works much better. Because before was really randomly depending on where you click on the curve, so sometimes a trouble for positioning it. But now it works great following the shape of the curve falloff. If need to change the shape after, just update the curve falloff and click on the curve.

thank you
