curve bridge twist problem

I am having a problem using the curve bridge tool where the tool is twisting the connection instead of making a straight bridge. When I do simple tests on primitive shapes it works but when I go back to my project it twists no matter what I try.

Anny help/suggestions? THANKS

The twist is 180 degrees which closes the bridge.

what does your object look like that you’re trying to bridge?
