Cube symmetrical edit

Hello everybody!

I want to edit a cube from all sides at the same time. One side is being edited, the others should be edited in the same way. With the symmetry settings or radial I got no further. Any idea?

Thanks for any help.

You could delete half of it, model until happy and then Mirror and Weld.

Hello @Larry3d

Enabling all three symmetry axes with radial active and a count of 4 will allow you to sculpt symmetrically with 4 points on each side of the cube. This is as close as I can get with symmetry directly.

You can, however, apply a square Nanomesh plane to the sides of a 6 polygon cube, sculpt on the source plane with Edit Mesh, convert these planes to geometry, and then project the detail onto the subdivided cube:

If care is taken with the sizing of the Nanos, you could probably just weld the resulting planes together into a cube.

Thank you very much for your kind support. Nanomesh and the project are still new to me. I’ll try radial symmetry. Duplicate the cube, rotate it, and merge it into one.

I did it with the radial symmetry and then edited the top and bottom separately.
