Since 2 days , for no apparent reason, Ctrl + z ( Undo ) resets my viewport camera so that I have to zoom back to were it was. Strange and annoying.
Hi @zzeebee
Just some basic troubleshooting to identify what you are describing.
-
Does it happen in any file, or only a specific file? If it happens in any file, like the default Lightbox files, then please contact Pixologic Support so we can examine your installation.
-
If it happens only in a specific file, does it happen with any tool or subtool, or only a specific tool or subtool? For instance, if you load the dog model from Lightbox into the same scene, do you have the same problem when using CTRL-Z with it?
-
If the former, then its likely an issue with the file–possibly an internal setting. If you don’t want to figure out where the issue is, you can try just loading the tools into a new scene with the Tool> Load Tools from Project function after restarting ZBrush. If the issue was specific to the previous file, the tools may not bring the issue with them.
-
However, if the issue only happens with a specific subtool, then its likely an issue or setting related to that subtool, and we would need to know more about it and what you are doing with it in the program.
Thank you!
Hi Spyndel,
It happens only on one subtool, a high res version I made from a low poly box model by subdividing and deleting the lower subD levels. I also seems to happen only when I zoom in very close for fine detail work. Maybe a viewport / camera issue ?
