Ctrl+Z not working on R7

Nothing I can do, I don’t have any ctrl+Z with zbrush R7, it’s really painful X_X. I tried to copy paste marcus code line for undo redo on the hotkey file, it use to fix that problem on my previous zbrushes but it doesn’t work on this one. I use a custom UI and going back to regular UI to fix this problem would be as painful for me as having no ctrl+Z.

I noticed that the problem happens when I append a subtool.
For example I open a dynawax scene, I have all my ctrlZ working, and then I append a subtool (even a primitive) and they’re not working anymore.

Help!

Just for the sake of clarification, you understand that each subtool has its own undo history, right? So if you were working on one subtool, and switched to a new one that you just appended, there would be nothing to undo.

(always include your OS is posts like this, BTW)

Aside from that, does restoring your default key configuration fix the problem? Some hotkey assignments can be problematic.

yeah I do, actually it stops working of the same subtool, not the one I append and if I do suff on the one appended it just gives me only one ctrlZ. I’m on windows 7.

I tried to reset everything, problem was still there :s

The only workaround I found is to open a dynawax scene first everytime I launch zbrush :/, But if i save my UI based on this scene it doesnt work.
