Is anyone having a problem with Zapplink working with Photoshop Cs 4? Zbrush will open PS but the doc won’t open whether I’m doing a character sheet or trying to color the model.

I had the same problem, until I discovered that if you are running Vista (x64 for me), you need to run ZBrush “as administrator” (right click on ZBrush and you’ll see the option). This allows CS4 to open and load the doc.
If you’re not running Vista, than I can’t help. Sorry.
If you’re running Vista you should set both ZBrush and Photoshop to run as administrator. Simply right-click on their executables (not desktop shortcuts) and choose that option from the context menu.
yeah I’m running Vista x 64 and shortly after posted found the post about the uac problem. So I switched both PS and Zbrush to admin and it works fine.
So glad i wasnt the only one with this problem , thanks to u guys i was able to fix this
Im Running Windows 7 64bit and pretty much had the exact same thing going on , added run as Admin on both shortcuts and now it works like a charm 
Sorry Aurick to insist on that topic, after having read throughout this thread, I come back again with the same problem, not solved when running both apps as an administrator. Have deleted the .txt file with path, and even recreated it by hand.
My specs : Seven, Zbrush 3.5 R3, Adobe Master coll with photoshop CS4 AND CS5 AND trying to run 32 AND 64bits versions as admin (8 gigs RAM, cintiq 12WX and blah, blah). I can remember having used it with CS3 but that was before zb3.5. No need to say my zapplink version is the latest.
At best, Photoshop opens without any file. At worst, Zbrush crashes.
Feeling quite frustrated.
Of course I’ll be waiting for ZB4, but…
