Really like your work… do you have any shaded views of the ‘Black guy head’ on your website?

The ripper.

Hello! Check out Caroline Delen’s texturing video here.

This is a two part video with Caroline Delen. Caroline is the first artist to be featured in The Artists in Action series and we are very proud of her work.

This series will feature many more ZBrush artists in their native habitat: ZBrush and we look forward to presenting all the joys of the Pixol!

Thanks again, Caroline, for your amazing work! carolineThumb[1][1].jpg

You´re one of my fav. artists!!! this character is amazing!! I love his face!!
As always you show us a masterpiece!!
Congrats!!:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Absolutly wonderfull…
CarolineDelenn, I have a question :I became rather good technically talking in zbrush, but actually I do mostly realistic stuffs.
I would like to train to character designing.

Your works are very good, but your characters designs are also great…
Do you have some advises to hlep to start in character desiging, could you explain shortly your procees to design a creature?
Do you pickup references you mix to get your own style?

Nice work :+1: Looks like crazy frog

Beautifully crafted model and meticulously conceived character (and concept
design) :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:, right down to the ‘weighting’ of the cloth-folds and the
texture detailing - mark me down as another for the base cage wire views

Inspired!

caroline,

the more I look at the mesh…all the meshes…it looks totally zbrush.

if it is am wondering if you are a multimarker master or have your hands on a beta, my reason for asking is more along the lines of if you are an mm master because try as I might I mmchallenged and would love to see some vids or tutorials and watch actual folks actually using them.

two things to forgive…one…if this part one video shows that…haven’t seen it yet and two…if ya did them in another app.

but if ya didn’t…and you are a beta tester…cool…i am liking what I see.

I know it sounds like I am fishing but really am only interested in the mm thing so if it’s not 1 or 2 ignore me.

thanks!

Hey Caroline, what can i say???.. Another perfect work, you surprised me again, clean as usual, and also love your concept art.

Congratulations dear :+1:

Caroline you just rock
Can you tell us how do you work with more objects in ZBrush ? Did you import the mesh from Gromme, vest, pants etc. separately and bonded them in Brazil or do you use only one objekt in ZBrush with the Gromme and all clothes and use polygroups ?

:red_circle:    :red_circle:
Where is the part 2 of this video ?

Beautiful work Caroline! this one also got as much character and personality as your previous gnome model. Great work on the texturing aswell as the modeling itself, you get all my 5 stars plus a bonus star for your top of the line Zbrushing skills.

:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: and… :+1:

Keep up the great work Caroline!

Wow, your models are always so tight with such interesting proportions. I’m guessing you’re having a lot of fun playing with the different volumes. Also there is something about your models that I can’t put my finger on but you’ve got a very unique style. Maybe it’s becuase you’re a woman that you’ve got some unique perspective on things.
I love you…r model.:o Keep up the good work!

Along with animnuts, I’m on the ‘MM fishing quest’ too
I seem to have frequent problems with some mesh imports, other times it just
falls into place
you seem to have it well and truly ‘sussed’ Caroline; and excellent topology
also by the way, a joy to behold.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks again for all the comments

Sebcesoir: My character designing process starts with a few quick sketches and different designs. I try to take inspiration from wildlife, books, history, etc… to get ideas for my designs. Mixing up different styles and ideas is also a good thing to try out, because it brings something original. After sketching, I pick one I like and then create an orthographic drawing to model from. My main advice would be mix different ideas and styles, and the best way to do that I find, is by brainstorming.

aminuts/Atwooki: I didn’t use the multimarker tool in this instance. The base meshes were modeled in Max, and then pieces were taken in separately to be zbrushed, so that I could export different displacement maps for the different parts.

Cral: I could've gone about it either way really, but for this particular character I took him into zbrush separately.

Great character, all great characters need aviation (old time welder) glasses!

:red_circle: Caroline, how do you make a reference image like that ?
