stumpf,
I love the way you sculpted the abdominal muscles in your Archangel.
Top row for me.
Thanks for sharing your amazing work

Hello, thanks for comments.
I started this model for a challenge on 3dtotal and made a five hour contest version.
But I spend more time to make it better, so here it is. Hope you like it.

Great work! …as always!
Wonderful! However that does bring back that barrel joke for sailor’s…
hands look great
Looks pro
Is the head scaled up deliberately?
Nice work!
Great sculpt. As usual…Probably the best one in the challenge.
One question for you Stumpf-
Do you switch on the perspective button under the ‘draw’ tab when you take a screen grab, or do you leave it switched off?
Great work as usual…
Hello, many thanks for comments.
james01: yes I use the ZBrush perspective; most with higher values.
This is a new project I worked on in the last week. It’s Archer from Small Soldiers
and my tribute to Stan Winston. I started as mostly from a polySphere for the head
and another for the upper body. I made the base sculpting and build then a
new topology on top and project the details on the new base. Other base
meshes like the belts I started also as a new topology inside ZBrush and go
then to Maya to build the final base. At the end I had 12 Mil polys and several
subtools and I need near a week to make this bust. Hope you like it.

Well, considering I haven’t seen that movie for 10 years and I recognized the bust from the thumbnail, I’d say this is a pretty good likeness.
Thanks for comment.
I made a quick color render as my final representation for the Archer bust.

Ralph! Are you looking through my window at my DVD collection? I love small soldiers!
This is great work as ever my friend.

I really enjoyed that movie :)… the contraptions the soldiers built were my favorite part… awesomely believable haphazard junk tech
Another great sculpt. I really enjoy looking back through your gallery as well.
Thanks for the reply Stumpf.
I got your gnomon matcaps recently and they are excellent.
Far better lighting quality in them than the Zbrush default matcaps.
I havent seen Small soldiers, but Archer looks great.
