This piece was created as a fast 3D concept exploration, focusing on defining a creature’s visual identity through form, expression, and material behavior.
The goal was to approach concept development directly in 3D rather than following a traditional 2D workflow, enabling rapid iteration and early decision-making on shape, mood, and surface qualities.
This approach reflects how character and creature ideas are often explored in a real-time production environment, where speed, clarity, and visual communication are essential.
This Project took me 2-3 days, and i could probably be faster, if i putted a bit less details, Becouse a concept don’t really need too much details, we just need to see the overhall picture, and how it looks from far. But since this is also a portfolio piece, i decided to push just a bit more than needed.
Sculpted and textured in ZBrush, rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.
