Hello all. recently I made a character for the comic con competition over at game artisans.
This was my first attempt at a character of this magnitude. I am honestly rather pleased with the final sculpt.

Sadly i can not say the same about the final game character. it is something i am ashamed to post. Why? how could such a model go from a pretty good model, to utter ****. Well a few things but mainly normal maps.
Basically i want to find out where i went wrong, so i would love some advice or links to how to create a game character in zbrush.
Here’s how i made my model
modo modeled everything
took it all in to zbrush to add details
toplogised in zbrush, attached the separate topolgy in modo
exported subtools as objs for use in xnormal
generated maps in x normals
spent ages trying to clean up the maps which had so many flaws.
textured
completed
made topic on zbrush forums.
SO please fill me in, i wish to learn adn improve myself, but i dont know where i went wrong.
