Creating Explosion

Hi everyone… I’m A tattoo artist, and i’ve been playing with zbrush so that i could build my own reference for tattoo designs… I’ve been asked to do a tattoo of an exploding clock, and this is what i’ve come up with so far… but my question is, does anyone have any suggestions of how to create an explosion that i can make coming from the inside of the clock and in between the gears?

Hello. I would sugest you to paint the explosion in painting soft or create it with particles in a different 3d software. ZBrush is “only” sculpting software.

thanks… i came up with this buy just making blobs and putting the hells breath mat cap on it… but i cant figure out how to make it give off an orange light to it looks like it’s lighting up the clock
