Creating a layer from the difference...

I started making a shirt and modeled the details (the seams) before getting into the making the folds and I did all of those details without using layers (very stupid from me).

My question is, is it possible for zbrush to create a layer from the difference of 2 objects? What I mean is, I would duplicate the shirt, and smooth all the details on one shirt, and somehow tell zbrush to calculate the difference between both shirts and make a layer from it.

Is it possible?

What you could do is load the alternate model as a subtool. Then create a layer and use the Tool>SubTool>Project All feature to transfer the detail to the other model. Or you could use the ZProject brush to do the same thing.
