Creating a Cyborg in Zbrush

Hey there I am a little new yet quite familiar with Zbrush but I just wanted to get something straight as I am still developing a workflow.

I am trying to create a line of cyborgs based off of a friend of mine. I have started off sculpting his likeness in a low poly basemesh. Now my question was since I plan to use his head repeatedly would I be able to first finish texturing and coloring this character to a high standard or what could be used in a finished product and THEN start making the body out of dynamesh? And what is generally a good polycount for a head? I am trying to make the finished product as high a detail as possible and animate them in Cinema4D

here is a screenshot of where I am at

Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, you can do what you’re thinking.

Good polycount for the head depends on what you plan to do with it. some people would argue 300 tri’s is a good count, others would say 30,000.

thank you for the response. what is the term tri’s referring to? sorry Im still green. Would the import of the head to a Dynamesh body require me to use UV’s?

I was also wondering how zbrush handles transparent objects - does it take well or? any feedback is appreciated. Thanks again
