Created Displacement have suddenly gotten very, very dark.

Hi There,

I am working on a model, and have been for a month or so. I was testing out creating displacement and normal map of the model, and they were working fine, I tested them in Maya still fine. All of a sudden the displacements are showing up really, really dark almost black in the ZBrush. There is still information showing up just very dark. They used to show up as mostly gray with details going from lighter to darker.

The normal maps are still coming out of ZBrush the same though, and this is what is puzzling, why the displacements seem to be not working correctly like they used to and the normal maps have continued to work properly.

Ok, I tracked it down to a simple setting. I had somehow changed the MID setting in the displacement menu to 0 instead of .5.
Here is the model in question, but the displacement is working now. Obviously still working on this, arm, hip, etc…
