These are probably really old questions, but I can’t find the exact answers to them

Create and export disp map :

  • How do I set the midpoint? Its greyed out
  • How can I control the disp map resolution ?

BTW I’m having to use the create disp map in the tools menu to write out an EXR as opposed to multi map due to tiff issues / bugs with the multi map exporter which I questioned in another thread.

GDay,

  • To set the displacement midpoint you must first select an image in the thumbnail window under the displacement drop-down menu. Any image or alpha will do.

  • The resolution of the displacement (or any) map is controlled under the UV Map drop-down menu.
