Crash when I try to save work

I have had this happen on several systems also, modeling, go to save and it crashes and I lose work. I relaunch load, and sometimes it’ll crash right away again the next time I try and save. Sometimes it works ok.
Any ideas?

I have also set my mem settings to 2048 in ZBrush

you said the problem right there, you have your ram settings too high, you have to take into account what xp uses, so set that lower around 1.25gb or so if not lower, also what version are you using? are you using CTRL+S for saving, if so don’t it will cause a crash, either use Tool:Save As or Subtool Master(recommended)
what are your undo doc and tool settings at as well?
