Cracks in Micro Mesh

Hello Zbrush gods.

I’m trying to get a wool effect micro mesh working but on any areas where the form bends outwards there are cracks appearing.

Any advice would be much appreciated. If I can get it working I will upload the wool micro mesh for all.

Your image isn’t showing. Make sure you upload it to ZBC.

A couple of things:

The mesh you use for the MicroMesh should be ‘whole’, so that the gaps are where they occur naturally.
If you subdivide the mesh after converting the BPR to geometry it can be useful to press Tool>Geometry>Modify Topology>Weld Points first, otherwise seams at the polygon edges can appear.
