CPU recommendation for ZBrush

I am going to upgrade my computer in few months. I have a 30" monitor and my work document size in Zbrush is quite large something around 1080p, which requires quite powerful CPU.

I am thinking about getting the upcoming Haswell 4770k, unfortunately it is only a quad core but would you think it will be enough for the amount of pixol space I intend to drive with it?

Would there be a massive difference if I bought a 6 or 8 core, or maybe dual 4770k is better way to go?

Any benchmark tests and thoughts on this matter are apreciated

If no one has any suggestions, maybe at least everyone just post what CPU you have and how it performs for you.

This is mine with a 30’ monitor and 20’monitor

Thanks blueferret, just one question, do you find it adequate to the 30 inch screen, is it smooth for sculpting and rendering in say, 15-20 mil polys?

Yes i find it big enough for 20 mil polys,But in Monitor Size if you can afford it Bigger is Better, you just have that much more realestate nto work with… Deke

Ps its not that important but you should have at least 8 gigs of ram, I use max alot so I got mine with 24 gigs…

I think I will go with the upcoming main stream quad Haswell 4770k, it will be in the reasonable price and I only need to buy mobo and cpu I already have 16gb ram so I won’t spend a lot and this will enable me to upgrade again in 2 years or so I think it will be a better choice than buying super expensive cpu now and then wait for upgrade longer.

thanks again for your input
