Corpse; Process Work

Its amazing and inspiring to see your work. Thank you for sharing it. Two questions:

Do you prefer to work digital, tradditional, or both.

How many artists work like this in a single high end studio? Is it one succesfull artist’s vision, or a team of them. How big would the team be?

Craig

Wow! A pro at work! Fascinating to whatch this, thank you for sharing!! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

If you’re as good with zbrush as you are with a pencil, it’s going to be great. Very nice drawings so far

so , you probably don’t know Alexia at all .

this is going to be as usuall great Sculpt with lots of detail
as i know Alex .

Hi Alexia
thanks for sharing , you are the Master of the Corpses

i want to know how to draw like that ;/

carreira-Hi my friend!! how are you? im living in SP now ,and still teaching in Melies School, thank you!!

XtremeAMX-you welcome! thank you!

HopelessComposer-thank you! i will take a look and work more on the left eye.

comic_craig-i love both ,but i really think that the cg artists should try study both, tradicional and digital.i dont understand so many cg artist that never take a time to learn traditional art.
Studios like ILM and Weta have a small team to do maquettes to be aproved before move to CG artist,
did you saw the many King Kong heads sculpted to find a good look to King Kong?
but the more important thing is the great CG artists have a good knowledge about traditional art.
and many traditional sculptor are moving now to CG art, some samples are Aaron Sims ,Rick Baker, many of the Stan Winston sculptors.thank you!!

Plakkie-thank you!

KarimZ-soon i will post teh sculpture and later the zbrush sculpt ,thanks!!

smeagol-thank you buddy!!

slocik-the best way is try get good books how to draw, and some good tutors from Gnomon, like the Neville tutors! thank you!!

here`s a upadate more;

Fernando (fer3d)

I’m loving this concept. And I whole-heartedly agree with you on the topic of traditional art. Now if only my drawing and sculpting skills where as sharp as yours then maybe I’d be making better progress.

Perfect drawing !!!

great bro! love it :+1:

yeah…this is going to be an amazing sculpt for sure! i can already hear the creepy music before the Z-ombie unveils her/himself to us.

i agree…even though this is the preliminary sketch. the first reference idea i think about for a ‘dead eye’ effect is that death blue/gray haze over the eye…like a fish just before you cook it and it has been dead for a few days.

great sketch. i can’t wait to see this progress.

Longsight-thanks buddy!

I love your work. I have saved all of them…being a zombie fan, this have become one of my fav zombie images. Can’t wait to see your sculpt works on it. Been a pleasure to watch your process.
They have inspired me enough to do some zombie sketches of my own the other nigt…but very kindergartenIsh compared to your work here.

Looks great. cant wait for the sculpt. It has real dry feeling to it. i really like the attention to detail and shading!

WOW!! I can’t wait to see more!!

Amazing sketch, if the sculpt is as good as your sketching then i’m looking forward to your progress, please dont keep us waiting.

if I may ask whats your backround? you are an amzaingly good artist.

Regards,

Will

Alexleia,

Truly a masterful visage of horror!! Your among the many talented artists here I truly find inspiring by the captivating work you produce. I’m just getting into this 3d genre myself so I find traditional media just as or more appealing at times. Always looking forward to seeing more… great job as usual. :+1:

this is absolutely amazing… i cant wait to see the finals…
