Copy sculpting from one subtool to another in a different position

Hi Id like to know if its possible to copy scuplting information from one subtool to another that has exactly the same base mesh but in a different position?

I have modelled a strap with multiple pouchs all of which are the same on my character in Maya. These have been positioned exactly where I want them, so when detailing in zbrush I dont want to detail one of the pouches then duplicate the subtool and then have to re-position every pouch again as they are already in the perfect position.

I know there is the “project” option but dont they have to be in exactly the same positions to do this ? eventually this will go back into maya for rigging and rendering and I want just one set of normal maps to use for all pouches as they will be the same.
many thanks

The only thing I can think of would be if they also have the same UV mapping you could create a displacement map of the one and then apply that to the others. If you want more than just a render effect, under the Tool>Displacement Map menu there is an option to apply the map as geometry.
