Convert to proper quads

Hello everyone,

I hope one of you very talented sculptors could take the time from your busy schedule to help me. I would like to know how you could rebuild or re-skin an OBJ file imported from rhino (with some triangles) into Zbrush and rebuild it properly into quads without changing the appearance of the original model. I have been successful with basic non-detailed models but not very successful on detailed ones. I do understand the basics of importing OBJ files into Zbrush, my problem is when I try to re-skin extract rebuild etc… My model becomes distorted.

I could send an OBJ model for you to experiment with. Please Help!

The sure fire way to do that is a retopo, but if you haven’t tried this method… you should.

You won’t always get the results you want because, depending on their placement, not all tris can be converted to quads.
