Control the Brush Texture and Brush Alpha separately

Hey there guys !

Can you mask the Texture(Color) separately from the Alpha(Height) in a Brush ?

As you know, when you set up a Brush with a diffuse texture and an alpha,
the intensity of the diffuse is also controled by the alpha.
Unfortunately thats not what I want.

I already drew a designated alpha channel inside the diffuse texture, just because I hoped
Zbrush would recognize it and control the diffuse intensity through that.
(Doesnt work ofc)

And yes, I also heard about turning down the Z Intensity and then hammering β€œ1” a couple of times
after you made your stroke, to repeat the last stroke without any actual sculpting.
But that also comes with drawbacks. (and is of course not the most satisfying workflow.)

So, do you know of a way to control the Brushs Texture separately from the Brushs Alpha ?

Thanks !

It looks like you need to invert your green channel in your normal map
