Confusion about antialiasing of renders (answered)

Hi
Previously I rendered my images with Antialiased Half Size and double document resolution method but now we have BPR with SubPixel Antialiasing setting.
The problem is that some materials don’t render properly with BPR but work fine with old Best Renderer method.
At the moment to achieve desired effect I press BPR button with Best Renderer turned on and receive final result in Img slot under BPR button.
My question is: does that render take into account SPix settings or is it raw, not antialiased Best render?
Many thanks in advance for all answers.

The BPR overlays the Best Render and so the SPix ant-aliasing is taken into account (provided the SPix slider is set to >0). You have no need to use the AAHalf button.

You can see the difference in the image. Both images were exported at actual size. I’ve enlarged them slightly so that the difference is easier to see.

Thanks for your help.
As I understand for quality of BPR render (apart from the case I mentioned in my first post) it is generally not important which option is turned on: Best or Preview. Am I right?

That’s right. If a Best Render has just been done then BPR will overlay it. With a Preview render I think it is completely replaced.
