COnfused Day

Hi…1rst off great work everyone, your talents influenced me to buy this program…But back to me:D …I really need help. I imported a face from facegen into ZBrush. Ok I already imported the face skin texture and wrked good…Now all i need to know is how can i make the eyes seperate so i can add the eye texture without changing the whole face.Do i have to mask the eyes out or sumthing. Please help is Really needed, I been searching for video torturials all day:(

You have to first bring it into a 3rd party app like Maya to make the eyes a separate OBJ file so you can import them separately as a subtool.

oh ok…is there any other program I can do it on cuz i already own Zbrush, Poser 7, And Facegen Modeller…and I was watching a turtorial and it said to mask off the eyes…add a sublayer and apply the eyeball texture…can i do that with zbrush and how would i?

Yeah, just mask off the eyes, then go to the masking menu and go to “HidePt” which will hide the unmasked areas. You can then go to poly groups menu and hit “group visible” , then you can go into the subtool menu and hit “groupSplit” this will seperate all the polygroups into their own subtool layers.
