Confused about how to keep my UV's

what i’ve done is created a model in zbrush using Zspheres and sketching, then used dynamesh to make my model.
after that i took it into topogun to reto my model, then i uv’ed the retopo’d model.

now i wanted to go back into zbrush to do a bit more sculpting because my polyflow was all out from the zspheres.

so to do that i saved a higher res version out of topogun, and in zbrush did the importing the high res over the low res to get my sub’d levels, but at this stage i lose the uv’s?

am i going about this all wrong or can i keep the uv’s and still go back to zbrush

cheers

you need to import your lowest subD level that is unwrapped into Zbrush. You can either import at the lowest subD while you have an active mesh (in edit mode) or you can append in your new LP mesh onto the old one, subD up and then project your details back on. At that point you can delete the old version if you’d like and continue sculpting.
