Config. data corrupt when installing

Here’s my problem. I am trying to install the 30 day trial after already using it, only for one day though (I uninstalled it but decided I want to use it again for a project I am doing). When the installer is unpacking I get an error that pops up and says “configuration data for this product is corrupt”.

Opening up a support ticket has got me nowhere. So far they gave me a new download link for the trial which doesn’t help the problem whatsoever.

I also have been changing the ticket status so far from ‘medium’ and now up to ‘urgent’ as I need this very soon, and cannot wait another 2 weeks for a reply that probably won’t even help resolve the issue.

Thanks to anyone that can help me on this issue.

Please be sure to delete the Pixologic folder from the previous installation. It’s most likely in the Program Files folder.

Also, you may have a corrupted installer. I recommend downloading the trial again.

Finally, how long ago did you last use ZBrush? I know you only used it for one day, but if that’s more than 30 days ago it will not be possible to run the trial anymore. The trial is based on calendar days; not days of use. Even reinstalling will not reset the clock.

I have deleted all folders and also all registry entries pertaining to zbrush and or pixologic. I have also deleted any temp installation files.

I last installed the trial about 1 week ago. I have also redownloaded the trial multiple times from different links.

There has to be something missing that I’m not getting. I’ve combed every area for files perhaps left over from my last “trial” and cannot find any more.
