Thats a very cool alien. Marvelous job on the modeling. And great sketches, btw. :) I cant wait to see the next update.

Very cool weapon design… great sword!

Thanks very much for supporting me with all those kind words, it really means a lot to me. Interaction at ZBrush Central really appears to be a lot better than like in other art related forums (,as i.e. concept art.org). I love “The Central”, a lot of great sculptors -known and unknown-, are gathering here. For me it’s still the best forum.:+1:

drkdve: thank you. I have viewed the ornaments in your 24 snow flakes section (left a comment). Speaking of weapons as I have drawn them here, such ornaments really suit well for those kind of designs. By using those kind of details on a weapon or an armour, you can really personalise props in favour of the character. I love those kind of details (if I only had the time to work on them more often…)
Capa: thank you.
Moni-Poroni: thank you. I have followed some of your work in the past already. Amazing progress (faster than me at least:o). Great job on the Native Woman bust.
EricShawn, SolidSnaxxx and Trucido:thanks for viewing my work again, I really appreciate.
marianosteiner, Ardox, Al.Tintop, gerudir: Thanks a lot!

Let’s get back to the tablet!
See you soon

Hey, thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it. I agree that good ornamental touches can add a hugely unique flavor to props.

I definitely enjoy the stylish nature of your weapons here, especially sword “d” and the top of the 2 horizontal daggers. Very elegance-meets-functiony, which I love.

Yes, thanks again!
I have to work on some other creature designs now, but I’ll post updates as soon as I get the time to continue working on the demon (which might be at the end of this year…)

Cheers to all!

Howdy ZBillies!

I recently started a Steampunk project and these are the first concept designs. I would be glad to know what you think about it. ![1.jpg|1200x831](upload://zyZz2JhJDsGkuK7qK4y687BwFcZ.jpeg)

Hi there,

EricShawn, EZRA52, Sebcesoir, thanks for your comments, I really appreciate.
Geert, thanks for taking a look at my flickr link. Infact we could link each other in case you are at flickr too. As for the website, I hope that I’ll finally find some time to take care of that technical stuff in order to get it running.

See ya!

A little variation - the same guy without the hat, reminds me a bit of Lobster Johnson from the Hellboy comics;)

Superb!!!
once upon a very long time ago, I worked on a game called Chaos Engine; this guy would have fit right in!
Great stuff :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

good ol’ Amiga and Atari times, eh?

A small update on the ‘Para-Plutonic Powderizer’…

Lobster Johnson dude looks cool man, nice work and solid concept. One thing you might want to improve on is the sculpting of his clothes - the wrinkles look like they’ve been placed haphazardly and dont follow any lines of force or flow - they should emanate from the points where they are anchored (buttons, shoulders…). Nonetheless, this doesnt detract from the character - got a lot of interest to him. Keep em coming!
